By now it is more than an alarm: more vandalism in Ittiri . This time the elementary school in via Porcheddu was targeted , turned upside down and smeared by unknown persons.

Mayor Antonio Sau, exasperated by the continuous raids, turns to the Prefect and issues a harsh and heartfelt communiqué. «I deeply regret the violation of the premises of the school in via Porcheddu - writes the mayor -. The images of damage to furniture and the work of our pupils disturb the deepest feelings of our fellow citizens. Unfortunately it is not the first episode, last week the school in via Turati was targeted. The serious events of the last period prompted me to request a meeting with the Prefect, which took place in the presence of the "Provincial Committee for Order and Security", in which I expressed the concern that I share with the citizens, targeted in the homes and in commercial, artisanal and agricultural activities".

"I don't know - continues the mayor - if there is a correlation between the various acts and I trust in the investigations, to bring those responsible to justice ".

«The country - adds Sau - is equipped with a video surveillance system and in fact in some cases those responsible have been filmed, with justice taking its course. The school in via Porcheddu is also under video surveillance and the images of the night have been saved. I express my utmost closeness to children, who deserve to grow up and be trained in a school and community that is safer and more respectful of common life".

"I thank - he concludes - the forces of order, the head teacher, the teachers and the many parents who have collaborated in the restoration of the premises".
