Intoxicated by the monoxide, father and son saved in Sant'Anna Arresi

I am a 72-year-old and his 41-year-old son, the two men who were intoxicated yesterday in Sant'Anna Arresi.

To give the alarm was a relative, who found them unconscious. The 118 personnel, the carabinieri and the fire brigade intervened on the spot.

The pensioner and his son had probably fainted from carbon monoxide poisoning caused by the clogging of a chimney connected to a wood stove.

They were transported by helicopter rescue to the Marino hospital in Cagliari.
