Two tourists from the Czech Republic were stopped on their departure from Cagliari-Elmas airport : in their suitcase they were carrying over six kilos of sand stolen from the beaches of Cabras .

The seizure was carried out by the airport security agents.

This was announced by the Sardinia Stolen and Stolen Association.

The sand "luckily will soon return to where it belongs," explains the association on social media.
