Students from Class 5B of the Settimo San Pietro Comprehensive Institute's primary school traveled to Rome, to Palazzo Madama, the seat of the Senate, to attend the awards ceremony for the "I would like a law that..." competition, sponsored by the Senate and the Ministry of Education and Merit. Class 5B of Settimo San Pietro won first place with their project "In cerchio sicuri - Tutti dentro, nessuno escluso," dedicated to the value of respect, listening, and the prevention of exclusionary and bullying behaviors.

The students, accompanied by teacher Elisabetta Cara, principal Maria Iole Nieddu, director of general and administrative services Andrea Vacca, mayor Gigi Puddu, councilor Maria Rita Arba, and city councilor Elisabetta Milia, were able to visit and admire Palazzo Madama before and after the ceremony, a splendid example of 15th-century architecture and the seat of the Senate since 1871. The works presented by the 14 winning schools from various parts of the country, including class 5B of Settimo, were exhibited here for the occasion.

Senator Marco Meloni, who is responsible for the commission, welcomed and awarded Class 5B in the legislative chamber.
