A special evening for 920 people, who dine outdoors in Piazza del Carmine in the first edition in Cagliari (and throughout Sardinia) of the Cena in bianco. It is an event organized by the Pro Loco of Cagliari under the patronage of the Municipality, completely free and with voluntary participation, which filled the square with almost a thousand Cagliari citizens, who dressed entirely in white brought everything they needed from home : both that for dinner (chairs, tablecloths, glasses, candles and crockery, also only white and with the prohibition of using paper and plastic) and food and drinks.

"It promotes elegance, conviviality and being together", the message of the mayor of Cagliari Paolo Truzzu, one of the participants in the dinner. The two entrances on the Via Roma and Via Maddalena sides were opened at 7.30 pm, and the event will start at 8.30 pm: it will last until 11 pm, while the square must be cleared by midnight, bringing everything back home and leaving no waste.

In addition to the volunteers, twenty Municipal Police officers guarded the area to ensure public order.
