Comedy returns to brighten the autumn evenings in Decimomannu. Following the resounding success of the first edition, the second season of the "Arrisu - Comedy at the Theatre" festival kicks off at the "Antica Valeria" municipal theater. This six-night event, from October 23rd to December 4th , will transform the town theater into a hub of entertainment and socializing, bringing together the lively Sardinian artists and the talent of Italy's most famous comedians.

The event, promoted by the Municipality of Decimomannu with the support of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia and the Fondazione di Sardegna, aims to consolidate the theatre's role as an intergenerational meeting place .

As Decimomannu's mayor, Monica Cadeddu, emphasizes: "Participating in the first edition of Arrisu sent us a clear signal: our community wants to come together and experience theater . We're building on this enthusiasm to continue a project that combines quality performances with the value of being together. With this second edition, we want to further enhance the "Antica Valeria" municipal theater, making it an ever-increasing hub for the city's cultural life. Comedy can bring new audiences together, engage young people, and spark dialogue between different generations through laughter . Investing in these opportunities means caring for the places and relationships that help a community grow."

A sentiment fully shared by the festival's artistic director, Graziano Piredda: "For this second edition of Arrisu, we've created a program that brings together Sardinian artists and leading figures in national comedy , offering audiences diverse styles and languages. The common thread is the pleasure of gathering in the theater and sharing a live show, where the relationship between artist and audience makes each evening unique. Last year's participation encourages us to continue this journey and cultivate a curious audience, open to discovering new offerings. Comedy has this power: it stems from everyday experiences, allows us to recognize ourselves in the stories told on stage, and offers, along with laughter, opportunities for reflection."

The curtain will rise on Friday, October 23rd, at 7:30 pm, with the irreverent energy of the Pota Boyz. The Brescia-based comedy collective, also known for their performances on the historic Zelig stage in Milan and a huge following on social media, will present an original format combining stand-up comedy and improvisation. In the first part, each comedian will present their monologues, while in the second, the audience will enliven the show by providing ideas and impromptu jokes.

The program will continue on Fridays, with shows starting at 7:30 pm. On November 6th, Valo Pusceddu will take the stage with his "Valosauro," followed on November 13th by Francesco Porcu and his show "Mezzo Secolo." On November 20th, the spotlight will be on the duo of Max Cavallari and Mauro Villata, who have been on television with Colorado, while on November 27th, Aurelio Sechi will perform "Non sto scherzondo." The program will close on December 4th with the captivating verve of Pino Campagna, a famous face from Zelig.

The event is organized by the Association of Local Authorities for Cultural and Entertainment Activities, in collaboration with the Tialla Cultural Tourism Association.
