Eurallumina workers protest 60 meters away: "Resources to manage the factory must be released immediately."

The concern of the Eurallumina workers has risen to 60 meters high : four workers have barricaded themselves in Furnace 1 , awaiting the meeting called for tomorrow morning in Rome with Mimit, Mef and the Financial Security Committee.

"The meeting must give the green light to immediately allocate the resources needed to manage the plant, particularly from an environmental standpoint," say the workers, who have climbed 60 meters into the air. "It's important not to forget that the factory contains 150,000 cubic meters of caustic liquid that must be managed and monitored . We'll be spending the night here; tomorrow's meeting must provide concrete solutions."

Outside the factory, workers are holding a sit-in; the unions have organized a briefing to announce the start of the new protest. The wait has begun in Portovesme.
