A fatal accident occurred this evening just before 11:00 PM on the old State Road 125, near the Burranca junction, in the Sinnai area. A woman, who was riding in the passenger seat of a car next to her husband, lost her life. Three people were injured in the three vehicles involved in the crash , the details of which are still being determined.

Two vehicles undoubtedly collided head-on: the one carrying the victim and her husband—a Peugeot— ended up over the guardrail. The driver of another car was pulled alive from the wreckage thanks to the intervention of firefighters. All those involved with serious injuries were taken to the hospital in critical condition, located between Brotzu and Policlinico.

The 118 operators of Sinnai Soccorso intervened on the scene, with the crew of an Areus medicalized ambulance.
