Illness on the beach, the director of the Microcitemico child neuropsychiatry clinic dies

Tragedy on the coast of Is Arenas , in the Oristano area.

Alessandro Zuddas , 65, from Cagliari, director of the child neuropsychiatry clinic of the Microcitemico hospital in the capital and professor at the University of Cagliari, died after suffering an illness .

Zuddas was on the beach with his family and, after the alarm, the health workers intervened on the spot with the helicopter rescue, which arrived from Sassari.

Attempts to save the 65-year-old's life have unfortunately been in vain .
