Flames in the night in the town center. The flames developed around 3 in the morning, in via Quintino Sella. The front part of a pickup truck, used for transporting livestock, was completely destroyed.
It is a small truck that was parked in front of the home of the owner, the local breeder, Luigi Citzia, 50 years old, president of the cultural association Macomer a Cavallo, involved last month in the organization of the joust. The carabinieri of the Silanus station and the firefighters of Macomer intervened on the spot, who were only able to limit the fire to the front part of the truck. The noise woke up the entire neighborhood, which overlooks the valley of S'Adde.
The causes of the fire are still being investigated by the fire brigade and the carabinieri. However, it seems that the causes of the fire were malicious.
