An 82-year -old Swiss citizen died this morning on the beach of Porto Frailis , in Arbatax , following an illness while he was in the water.

The elderly man, on vacation in Sardinia with his wife, asked for help while he was taking a bath after suffering an illness.

Immediate intervention of the lifeguard, who began to give him the first treatments.

The men of the Arbatax harbor master's office, the 118 doctors and the helicopter rescue arrived on the spot, but for the elderly tourist there was nothing to do: he died in the arms of the rescuers.
