Illegal traps for eels seized in the Sant'Antioco lagoon

Six bertovelli, traps for catching eels, were discovered and seized by the Forestry in the Sant'Antioco lagoon.

The surveillance operation in the wetland was carried out with the help of the specific nautical vehicle for shallow waters, supplied to the Blon department and is part of a broader operation that involved all the ponds, lagoons and rivers of the Sulcis Iglesiente .

The bertovello, the Forestry informs us, cannot be used during the period from January 1st to March 31st and from June 1st to September 30th, according to the provisions of the provisions of the Region.
