Iglesias, new driver caught driving under the influence

Surprised at the wheel in a state of intoxication , an 18-year-old from Carbonia was denounced on the loose by the carabinieri of the Iglesias Radiomobile who stopped him tonight at 3.30 in via Paolo Borsellino.

The young man was behind the wheel of a company-owned Jeep Compass and, when subjected to a breathalyser, tested positive with a BAC of 1.41 grams per liter in the first test and 1.42 in the second. The driving license, which had just been obtained, was withdrawn from him, the car returned to the owners of the owner company.
