Iglesias, fear in the "Cruccueddu" gallery

The toll of the collision between cars that took place is two injured   inside the "Cruccueddu" tunnel, on Statale 130. In the accident, which occurred around 5.30 pm, three cars were involved in a carom, presumably due to an invasion of the lane by one of the cars. The firefighters of the Iglesias detachment intervened, extracting some of the motorists who were blocked by the metal sheets, and making the road section safe. The two injured were entrusted to the 118 staff for first aid. The worst would have been a woman, for whom it was necessary to be transported to the Sirai hospital in Carbonia. A patrol of the municipal police of Iglesias also intervened at the scene of the accident. Traffic was completely blocked for over an hour, to allow rescue operations.
