Housing Area, 8 million arriving in the Island for maintenance
The four capitals and many other Sardinian municipalities are affected

Eight million ready to be reinvested in the maintenance and upgrading of Area housing.
This is what the lines of the second program for the use of the proceeds relating to past years and deriving from rents that the regional housing company will reinvest, as approved today by the Council on the proposal of the Councilor for Public Works, Aldo Salaris .
The municipalities concerned include Cagliari, Sassari, Nuoro, Oristano, and again Sestu, Alghero, Porto Torres, Macomer, Iglesias, Carbonia, Villacidro, Guspini, Quartu, Serramanna, Serrenti, Arbus, Dorgali, Decimoputzu, San Vito, Masullas, Orosei , Sardinian Bari, Bitti, Bortigali, Bonorva, Ozieri, Nule.
"The emergency and housing deprivation remain central to the agenda of the Region and this further programming of resources is the truest testimony of this", explains Governor Christian Solinas.
"We are talking about an impressive program of reinvestment of resources to be allocated to interventions on existing assets and the completion of new buildings", adds the commissioner Salaris. “With this further and awaited measure, we are meeting the needs of families in difficulty, giving concrete answers to those who are waiting for accommodation or those living in precarious conditions and guaranteeing a home even for young couples in unfavorable economic conditions. Housing policies are a fundamental component for us: with dedicated measures and maximum attention to housing, we are in fact committed to forming a more equitable system, attentive to the needs of the most fragile families and oriented towards the dignity of people ".
THE WORKS - Thanks to the resource reinvestment plan, extraordinary maintenance interventions will be carried out on the accommodation in via Tintoretto in Cagliari (467,016 euros); extraordinary maintenance work on housing in via Gramsci, via Pani and via Rinascita in Arbus (€ 528,000); removal of architectural barriers in Cagliari, Guspini, Quartu, Serramanna, Serrenti, Sestu and Villacidro (350,000); interventions to secure the roofs of the buildings in via Zurru in Donori (350,000); consolidation of the floors and maintenance of the building systems in via S'acqua Cotta in Decimoputzu (150,000 euros); recovery of 35 residual apartments in Arbus, Guspini, San Vito, Serrenti and Villacidro (715,000); renovation and redevelopment of 10 apartments in via A. Moro in Iglesias (800,000 euros); restructuring and redevelopment interventions in Carbonia "From coal to the sun" (648,700 euros). Again: conversion to ERP of 3 apartments in via Nora in Oristano (280,000); building consolidation works (2 apartments) in via Desogus in Masullas (100,000 euros); extraordinary maintenance of 4 buildings and 32 apartments in via Kennedy in Oristano (300,000) and of other 2 buildings and 20 apartments in via F. Prinetti, also in Oristano (220,000).
Also included in the program are the completion of the new construction for 22 apartments, in the locality of Scalarba, in Macomer (470,000); 40 lodgings in viale Funtana Buddia in Nuoro (213,341 euros); 12 lodgings, in Folai in Orosei (150,000 euros); 12 lodgings in Canali in Bari Sardo (300,000 euros). Again: extraordinary maintenance work on 15 apartments in via M. Sanna in Bitti (32,700 euros); extraordinary maintenance work on 5 apartments in Bortigali (195,242 euros); renovation and redevelopment of 4 apartments in Nule (€ 87,000); completion of 56 apartments in via G. Deledda in Sassari (€ 375,000).
Finally, as regards the latest renovation and redevelopment works, the future modernization plan includes 16 apartments in via De Gasperi in Alghero (640,000 euros); 12 lodgings in P.zza M. Mannu in Ozieri (480,000 euros); 11 lodgings in via Calabria in Porto Torres (440,000 euros); 8 apartments in via A. Moro in Bonorva (328,000 euros).
