In Sardinia the highest temperatures in Italy.

The summer that has just arrived immediately brings with it the scorching heat and Sardinia has the highest temperatures in Italy.

Coinciding with the summer solstice, the peak was recorded in Oristano (39°), but also torrid heat in Carbonia (38°) and in Nuoro and Sassari (37°).

In the coming days, new increases and "oppressive heat" are expected: on the island, in particular, it will exceed 40°, thanks to the prevalence of the sun practically everywhere.

On the other hand, a drop in temperatures is expected over the weekend, with the highs returning to 33-34°C. (Unioneonline/lf)
