Home search in Siliqua: weapons also seized

The Carabinieri of the Siliqua station, supported by colleagues from the Canine Unit and Cites, carried out a house search on two people from the town in the early morning today.

Two men living in the town, aged sixty-three and thirty-seven respectively, ended up in the sights of the men of the force. The proceeding, delegated by the Prosecutor's Office following a previous complaint, led to the seizure of a motorcycle, already subjected to administrative seizure due to some irregularities, which, despite the restriction, still continued to be used by the thirty-seven year old.

The sixty-three-year-old, however, was notified of the seizure of a van without insurance and, from both, eight 12 gauge rifles, for hunting use, and a 7.65 caliber semi-automatic pistol were seized. All the weapons, even if they were found to be legally held, were seized as a precaution.
