Head-on crash on Highway 125: five injured, two seriously

Very serious accident this afternoon, around 3.30 pm, on the Statale 125, between Olbia and Arzachena , in Casagliana. Two cars involved, five injured, two in serious condition.

The dynamics are still to be clarified but, according to the first information, there was a head-on caused by a lane jump by one of the vehicles involved.

Three wounded were transferred to the emergency room of the Giovanni Paolo II hospital in Olbia, aboard two ambulances of the Agosto 89 association . Two more, more serious, were transported by Areus helicopter to the Sassari hospital.

Also on site was a team from the Arzachena fire brigade, which collaborated with the medical personnel for assistance to the injured, as well as making vehicles and scenery safe. The findings are carried out by the local police of Olbia.
