The Municipality of Olbia has started an investigation into the case of a four-year-old child removed from a nursery school. This morning, following input from the Councilor for Education, Sabrina Serra, municipal officials began to deal with the matter which concerns a private school in the Gallura town.

According to a warning sent to the school by the parents' lawyer, the child was removed for his "inappropriate" behavior and aggression towards his classmates.

The lawyer Oriana Erittu, lawyer for the child's family, wrote: «According to the regulations in force, an unmotivated and unfounded verbal expulsion order, such as the one you applied, is contrary to any assumption of legitimacy, given that, in the absence of health certification and, without a specific diagnosis, both the imposition of an ad hoc educator for the reported minor and the removal from school during the year cannot be considered lawful". Again according to the warning, the child's family would have been given the condition of hiring, at the parents' expense, an educator to be assigned exclusively to the minor.

The checks by the Municipality of Olbia are underway.
