He steals the donation box from Arbus, the parish priest chases him down the street

After stealing the offering box, he was discovered by the parish priest who chased him through the streets of Arbus. Having managed to escape, however, he had already been recognized so much that the carabinieri - after acquiring the testimonial statements - denounced him for attempted aggravated theft.

A 39-year-old got into trouble on the evening of 11 February last, taking advantage of the temporary absence of the parish priest of San Sebastiano Martire, took away the container with the offers with about 50 euros inside. However, the priest, having returned from the sacristy, saw him and chased him down the street, forcing the thief to abandon his booty. On the way he was identified by the parish priest himself and by other passers-by.
