Owner of a convenience store in trouble, in Sassari , for selling alcohol to minors .

The man, who runs a business in Corso Vittorio Emanuele , was identified on Saturday by local police officers shortly after selling a Campari to a 14-year-old girl .

The young woman's parents were immediately notified and summoned to the Command in via Carlo Felice, while the mayor Nanni Campus signed the order that provides for the closure of the business for 30 days , from 16 to 8 the following day.

THE CONTROLS - The controls of the local police of Sassari aim to stem the increasingly worrying phenomenon of the sale of alcohol to minors . For the administration of alcohol to minors, the national legislation provides for a fine ranging from 250 to one thousand euros. In the event of recidivism, a penalty ranging from 500 to 2 thousand euros is applied, with suspension of the activity for three months. The ban applies to minors under the age of 18, over sixteen, while the administration of alcohol to minors under the age of 16 is criminally sanctioned by article 689.

Just a few days ago another order was issued which ordered the suspension of an activity for fifteen days.

“Unfortunately, more and more frequently we see very young people driving in a state of psychophysical alteration that cause accidents, often with serious consequences, for themselves, for those who are in the car with them and for those who unfortunately meet them” comments the commander Gianni Serra.
