A twenty-eight-year-old Neapolitan was reported in Muravera for computer fraud.

Victim was a 49-year-old local worker who replied to a fake text message asking her to update the Italian Post Office application contained in her smartphone.

Then contacted on her telephone number by an alleged Poste operator who induced her to carry out a series of code confirmation operations, the woman without realizing it made a top-up of 450 euros in favor of a Postepay Evolution card which turned out to be headed to the bell woman.

To discover the scam the carabinieri, alerted by the 49-year-old, who traced back to the beneficiary of the scam thanks also to the collaboration of the Post Office administration, and through a verification of the real owner and user of the telephone number used for the scam.
