He stoned a dog on the Giara di Gesturi.

A 65-year-old man was reported for killing Pedro, a dog owned by a local hunter.

At the origin of the gesture of man, a sheep farmer, there is the resentment towards the hunters of the area and the desire to defend his sheepfold from the hunting dogs that cross the Giara and the countryside of the plateau.

The dog's owner, a 60-year-old hunter from Genoni, was hunting on the Giara with his bloodhound Pedro when he lost sight of him. After hours of walking and searching he identified him thanks to the GPS collar but he was dead, hit several times in the head with a large stone.

The man who had hit him, MP, a Gesturi breeder known to the police, was there trying to hide the animal when the hunter arrived in the area. The 65-year-old's escape attempt was useless, the carabinieri contacted by the hunter arrived on the spot and reported the man.
