He gets lost in the Osilo countryside and falls badly: intervention of the Helicopter Rescue

Rescue intervention by the Fire Brigade of the Sassari power plant in the Osilo countryside for the recovery of a person over eighty years old.

The elderly man, while walking to a former farm, lost his balance and fell heavily to the ground among the bushes.

Given the difficulty of operating with land vehicles due to the impervious and difficult to access area, it was necessary to send Drago 149 and its helicopter rescue crew to the site, which in collaboration with the land fire brigade team reached the area, stabilizing the injured man and recovering him with the help of the winch.

The man was transported to the Sassari civil hospital for checks. The Chiaramonti carabinieri and the 119 ambulance based at the Osilo station were present on site.
