He went up to the roof of his house to do some repairs but lost his balance or tripped and fell downstairs. A tragedy that occurred this morning in Sanluri cost the life of a 94 year old.

The pensioner, around 10, was in the house with his wife and her caregiver (the woman has walking problems): he started lunch and then went to the roof for some work. It is not clear what happened, the fact is that the pensioner made a flight of several meters ending up on the ground below.

The request for help was immediate. A 118 ambulance arrived on the scene and was unable to do anything to save the life of the elderly man, and also the Sanluri carabinieri.
