Dozens of interventions by the firefighters and the municipal police of Cagliari for the damage caused by the strong mistral wind that is whipping Sardinia in these hours.

The men of 115 went into action in different areas for the safety of roofs, cornices, poles and branches unsafe or for garbage cans and barriers moved by the violent gusts.

The most serious episode occurred in via Flavio Gioia, in the Cep district, where a pine was uprooted and fell on two parked cars, damaging them. Fortunately no injuries were recorded.

IN NUORESE - A day of hard work also for the Nuoro firefighters.
The operators had to intervene for unsafe trees that fell to the ground, damage to house roofs, chimneys and photovoltaic systems.

The interventions of the rescue teams have mainly affected the centers of Dorgali with the hamlet of Cala Gonone, Siniscola, La Caletta, Tortolì, Lotzorai, Lanusei, Villagrande Strisaili.
Some safety measures are still underway for unsafe trees and the removal of traffic obstacles. Fortunately, there is no involvement of people here either.
