Here we are, from tomorrow the obligation of a Green pass in the workplace is triggered: it will be required of public, private and self-employed employees. Companies and public bodies are organizing to carry out checks without creating too many inconveniences at the entrances.

In public bodies

If the Metropolitan City of Cagliari publishes the circular that will determine access controls by today, the Municipality of Cagliari, on the other hand, has gone ahead and has been adopting the method of verifying the Green pass for a week. "We must set a good example as an institution and as citizens", says the Prime Minister Edoardo Tocco, "we have taken all the necessary precautions and precautions, we are autonomous and it will be our own staff to ascertain the validity of the green certification ".

Same procedure in the offices of the Region. "We will carry out random checks with daily selection and with the rotation criterion in order to guarantee the monitoring of all personnel in a reasonable amount of time", declares Valeria Satta, Personnel Councilor.

Verifications in the private sector

Alla Portovesme Srl "those who already have the Green pass will be able to use the badge and there will be a cross-check with the data recorded in our system, while for those who have not communicated in advance that they have a green card there will be manual control by the insiders », Explains the managing director Davide Garofalo. Same procedure in the Fluorsid plant in Cagliari which has 135 employees. «We are completing the installation of the detectors for reading the badge which, connected to our system, will verify the veracity of the Green pass on ministerial standards C-19. Each person who enters the company will be checked for certification », explains Daniele Tocco, director of the Cagliari office.

In shopping malls

"The persons in charge of control have been identified and appointed both among our employees and with the security company and the operating procedures for the assessment", explains Nadia Mombelli, Shopping Center Manager Gallerie Sardegna. "The control will take place at the entrance of employees and supplier companies, before the opening of the centers, and the security personnel will carry out further checks until closing".

The trade unions

The trade unions are critical and fear that the freedom of choice of the worker may be harmed. "The vaccination campaign is important," says Francesca Ticca, Uil regional secretary, "but there is talk of free choice and the worker must be free to choose the tampon, which must be guaranteed free of charge". But the concern is also about the chaos that can generate daily control in large companies. And not only: «We are also worried about the verification method: companies can view the green card, but they cannot archive it, so what will this entail in terms of time and working hours? All the critical issues will come out day after day, generated by a rule that has underestimated too many aspects, especially from an organizational point of view ».
