Lotzorai, falls from quad: young man airlifted to Brotzu

He fell from the quad he was using to spend an afternoon of leisure. Everything went smoothly until 6:30 pm today, when the four-wheeled vehicle overturned, throwing the driver, a 21-year-old from Lotzorai, to the ground.
The accident occurred on the north-western outskirts of the town, in an area adjacent to the provincial road 56 , and the boy suffered a head injury which required his transfer to the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari aboard the Areus helicopter.
The patient's conditions are not serious , but the doctor on duty on Echo Lima 3, which took off from the Elmas base, deemed it appropriate to transport him to hospital as a precaution.
The Carabinieri of the Lanusei company also intervened in the countryside where the accident occurred and will have to ascertain the exact dynamics of the accident and verify any responsibilities.
