The Carabinieri of Bari Sardo and Tortolì arrested him red-handed after a phone call from the elderly victim, who by now feared for his safety.

The young man, a repeat offender, was taken to Lanusei prison. Already in May 2023 he had attacked his family members for the same reasons and a few days ago, last June 14, he had been reported for mistreatment by his 50-year-old father, a complaint that had triggered the red code .

At the validation hearing, the arrest was validated and the 26-year-old was placed in pre-trial detention in prison .
