Gianfranco Favini is the new Guarantor of the prisoners for the Bancali prison
He was elected in the third ballot
Born in 1947, the president of the Alzheimer association of Sassari is the new Guarantor of the rights of people deprived of personal freedom.
Gianfranco Favini was elected this afternoon by the City Council in the third absolute vote, the second of the session, with 20 preferences, which are worth exceeding the required quorum of the absolute majority, set at 18.
In the previous two votes, a two-thirds majority was required, that is to say 25 votes.
The City Council then voted in favor of the immediate execution of the assignment, so from this moment Gianfranco Favini is also operationally the new guarantor of the prisoners for the Bancali prison.
He replaces Antonello Unida, revoked on December 16, 2021 following his no-vax positions which have found wide echo at the national level.
