Killed for two thousand euros. This is the sum taken away from the home of Tonino Porcu, the 78-year-old retired farmer, beaten to death during a robbery that ended in blood in his home in Ghilarza.

The money, from what we learn, was kept in a box that the investigators of the Provincial Carabinieri Command found open, like the drawers and furniture of the whole house, turned upside down by the criminals.

Numerous traces of blood were found in the house: not only in the bedroom, where the body was discovered, but also in other rooms, including the bathroom.

Meanwhile, the investigations of the carabinieri continue, who in these hours are collecting the testimonies of friends, acquaintances, relatives and neighbors of the victim.
