Gesturi: the crossbar of the municipal field collapses, eleven year old in helicopter rescue at Brotzu

Terrible accident in Gesturi.

An eleven-year-old boy, while he was playing soccer with his cousins, was hit in the head by the crossbar of the door which suddenly came off and collapsed on him.

The boy lost consciousness and was transported by helicopter rescue to the Brotzu in Cagliari, with a red code assigned.

The episode took place in the municipal soccer fields.

The 11-year-old's condition would not be serious.

The family members raised the alarm: the carabinieri of the Compagnia di Sanluri arrived on the spot, together with the 118 doctors, who started investigations to precisely verify what happened and ascertain any responsibility.
