A Cosa Nostra yacht carrying cocaine to Gallura? Investors from the Campanian mafia ready to "land" in Palau? These are the worrying questions raised, albeit indirectly, by the order issued by Tempio's investigating judge, Federica Distefano.

The issue concerns the order, requested and obtained by prosecutor Alessandro Bosco, which led to the arrest of 19 people in Palau, Olbia, Santa Teresa, Tempio, and La Maddalena . The order acknowledges a delicate investigation conducted by the Porto Cervo Police Station staff and reconstructs the background to the State Police's investigation. These are not circumstances alleged against the suspects, but rather facts that served as the starting point for the investigators.

There are allegations of individuals who allegedly organized the transport of cocaine from ports in Lazio and Tuscany to the La Maddalena Archipelago. These individuals are connected to Cosa Nostra affiliates and have been monitored for some time. According to rumors, State Police personnel, coordinated by director Valentina Piras, monitored individuals who arrived in Gallura from Campania to find "channels" with criminals and low-level drug dealers. The objective of the individuals linked to the clans was not to find contacts for drug trafficking, but rather people willing to support investment operations in the hospitality and restaurant sectors.

The investigation (into three alleged channels of cocaine and, to a lesser extent, marijuana trafficking) has reached Olbia and Porto Cervo. During the investigation, it emerged, among other things, that some of the suspects were stealing construction and electrical materials from one of the five-star hotels on the Costa Smeralda. Between tomorrow and Friday, all the suspects (represented by lawyers Antonello Desini, Jacopo Desini, Donatella Corronciu, and Egidio Caredda) will appear before investigating judge Federica Distefano.
