Abandoned bags of rubbish, a series of broken dishes, bottles, even a refrigerator. All a stone's throw from the Santa Gilla lagoon in Cagliari . The landfill is close to via San Paolo : a gap in the bushes, on the side of the road, allows you to flank the overpass for a few hundred meters, which hides the dirt road. The shelter must have suggested the idea of rapid waste disposal to more than one person: the heaps are different, and grow as the days go by.

Not that the situation improves moving in the sunlight. Via San Paolo continues to belong to everyone, with old cars destroyed and left in plain sight. In this area there are evident critical issues, but not the only ones in the capital.

Lots of waste also abandoned in the Sant'Elia district, especially when approaching the stadium. Around the old plant, already in a state of abandonment, there are some piles of garbage : someone has even left a tricycle there. Also in this case, the situation becomes critical under the overpass. This seems to be one of the weak points: where nobody looks, here is the ideal place to throw the rubbish. And illegal dumping is on the increase.
