He would take advantage of the police uniform and his career as a sportsman , also expert in massages, to abuse a girl who had entrusted him with a rehabilitation of her leg . In reality, he would later persuade her to undress , then forcing her to have sexual intercourse. This is the accusation that brought Gianluigi Curreli, a retired former carabiniere from Masainas , to trial, accused of sexual violence against a woman . The prosecutor asked him for a sentence of 3 years and 8 months of imprisonment.

The story

The outlines of the story are still unclear, also because the woman has never filed a lawsuit . According to the few rumors that emerged, the social workers following the young woman would have formalized the complaint to the carabinieri: after a long time from the alleged violence, the alleged victim would have told them what happened, reiterating that she had gone to the former carabiniere to receive of rehabilitation massages. At that juncture, again according to the indictment, the ex-soldier would have convinced her to take off her clothes, including underwear, massaging not only her leg but the whole body, finally imposing a complete intercourse on her.

The investigation

The episode - which the Prosecutor indicates to date back in a period between September 24, 2014 and October 31, 2015 - would come to light when the woman, followed by social services, reported the incident to the assistants. At that point it was the latter who warned the carabinieri who started the investigations. At the end of the investigation, the prosecutor asked for the indictment of the former marshal , now retired. In addition to the accusation of sexual violence, the prosecutor also disputes the aggravating circumstance of having abused the powers inherent in his public function as carabiniere.

The process

Before the judge Cristina Ornano, the accused - defended by the lawyer Salvatore Casula - chose the shortened procedure . In recent days, the public prosecutor Ginevra Grilletti concluded the discussion asking for a sentence of three years and eight months of imprisonment. The defense has a different opinion, rejecting all accusations , demanding the full acquittal of the former marshal. The alleged victim, on the other hand, filed a civil action with the lawyer Antonella Piredda. The sentence is expected in the next few days.
