He had purchased spare parts for his car online , but after paying, the sellers disappeared , leaving him without any goods or money. A resident of Fonni was the victim of the scam. The Carabinieri of the local station, after a detailed investigation, have charged three people with conspiracy to commit fraud.

The investigation began with a complaint filed by the citizen, who had identified the offer on a popular online marketplace. After a brief telephone negotiation with the alleged sellers, the man paid the agreed-upon sum of €1,855. However, after collecting the money, the three disappeared without shipping the goods.

The investigations, conducted through the analysis of financial flows and telephone records, allowed the police to reconstruct the incident and identify those responsible. The three will now face charges of conspiracy to commit fraud before the judicial authorities.
