A beautiful custom in the name of friendship and nostalgia, but above all a way to meet and remember the good old days of childhood .
The 1972 "fedals" from Florinas celebrated their 50th birthday . They were classmates in elementary school and they met in the parish of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, where a mass was celebrated in their honor by Don Giosuè Carboni.
There were moments of joy and also of emotion , when the contemporary Gavino, who recently passed away, was remembered.
«It was wonderful to find ourselves all together – they explain -. With someone we have lost touch, with others they continue to hang out with us. But when we were all together it felt like 40 years ago, when we got our hands dirty with chalk on the blackboard and the teacher gave us grades and assigned us homework. Those were perhaps more miserable times but certainly more genuine than today. In which certain values have been lost».
