In the last few hours, the fire alarm went off another thirteen times in Sardinia, with the teams of the Forestry Corps taking action in as many locations to tame the flames, limiting the damage.

In one case it was also necessary to intervene, in support of the ground crews, of an aircraft.

In fact, in Suni, two helicopters took off from Bosa and Fenosu in the S'Olivera countryside and the intervention of a Canadair was also requested.

By land, 7 teams from the Forestas Agency and a team from the Barracellar Company of Tinnura intervened, coordinated by the staff of the Gauf of Sassari and that of the Forestry Corps Station of Bosa.

The fire covered an area of about 80 hectares of wood, cork oak and Mediterranean scrub.
