Fires, helicopters in flight in Carbonia and Vallermosa

Of the eleven fires that broke out in Sardinia today, two required the use of helicopters from the regional fire-fighting system, to put out the flames and for reclamation operations.

The second fire in the Municipality of Vallermosa , locality "Cuc.Ru Piroi": the extinguishing was coordinated by the staff of the Forestry Corps of Villacidro, assisted by the helicopter personnel on board the helicopter from the helicopter base of the CFVA in Marganai. A team from the Forestas Agency of the Villacidro construction sites, a team from the Vallermosa Barracellar Company and the volunteers of the Siliqua associations also took part.
