Fires continue to burn in Sardinia this fall: 22 interventions in just a few hours.

As October begins, the fires in Sardinia continue to rage. A total of 22 operations were carried out to put out the flames in as many locations across the island on Thursday, the 2nd.

In 5 cases, the intervention of helicopters and Canadairs was also necessary, one coming from Ciampino.

In particular, the aircraft entered into action in support of the ground teams coordinated by the Forestry Corps in the countryside of Siris, in the Carbonia area, near the Provincial Road 2 , in the Municipality of San Basilio, in the Pinne Mairana area, in Guamaggiore and also in the Norbello countryside.
