Fire on the outskirts of Capoterra, 4 thousand square meters of land on fire

A fire occurred today on the outskirts of Capoterra . The flames developed in the locality of Sa Sennoredda and devastated about 4 thousand square meters of land consisting of uncultivated vineyards, abandoned greenhouses and bushy pastures.

A team of the Civil Protection Santa Barbara di Capoterra intervened on the spot together with the forest patrol of the Uta station. The operations, which ended shortly after 2 pm, prevented the fire from reaching a pig shelter.
