Moments of fear at dawn on Sunday in the historic center of Sassari.

The firefighters of the local command intervened after an alarm for a fire that had broken out inside a house.

The flames completely destroyed the house, located on the ground floor, and heavily damaged the wooden attic.

After the fire was extinguished, the apartment was closed to the two occupants, who remained unharmed, but frightened and in shock over what had happened.

Investigations are underway to clarify the causes that sparked the fire.
