Fire in Sassari, tons of waste burning: an investigation opened

This morning the situation is clearly improving even if the fire has not yet been extinguished.
The flames broke out yesterday, in the early afternoon, inside the waste disposal plant of the Gesam company, raising a black cloud of dioxin, twenty meters high, visible from several kilometers away. Tons of waste burning, with the air that soon became unbreathable .
Firefighters, local police, civil protection and forestry corps were on site with the support of two helicopters, a Canadair and a Superpuma.
The fraudulent matrix is hypothesized and for this reason the Public Prosecutor has opened an investigation with the seizure of the cell phones of all Gesam employees.
