Fire in Cagliari: trees and weeds are on fire, smoke invades via delle Saline

Fire in the night in Macchiareddu . Undergrowth and trees are on fire, with smoke and flames that have also spread along the roadway along Via delle Saline.

The smoke in particular has invaded the roadway , also creating dangers for traffic , given the frequency of passage of heavy vehicles in the area.

The Cagliari fire brigade intervened at 4 in the morning, sending a "4A" emergency response team from the city detachment that tamed the flames and cleared the area of residual outbreaks in about an hour and a half.

Other interventions were carried out in the hinterland , in Settimo, Maracalagonis, Villasor and Santadi, again for vegetation and scrub fires.
