The Prefect of Oristano Salvatore Angieri has issued the Provincial Plan for the management of forest fire and interface emergencies in the 2025 summer season.

The tool, which aims to guarantee the safety of the population of the territory, provides a series of measures to be activated in a synergic manner in case of need.

"Common lines of action are needed, both in a preventive manner and in the presence of risk situations, and good practices put into a system to operate in the best possible way, making the most of previous experiences, to promote a response that is as integrated and coordinated as possible", explains the government representative.

The plan includes the involvement of the Police, Fire Brigade, Port Authority and all interested parties for the prompt activation of the planned measures.

The Prefecture will assume the role of coordinating the State Forces to ensure prompt operation and effectively address any emergency situations. The plan was defined to ensure the safety and security of populations affected by forest and interface fires.
