The firefighters have been working since midday to combat a large fire that broke out between Terralba and Arborea, in the Linnas area, along Road 3.

On the field there are three teams from the Oristano command, one from the Sanluri detachment and two tankers sent from the headquarters.

The flames, driven by the strong wind, spread from the eucalyptus trees to reach farms and houses.

The Drago helicopter of the Sardinia flight department is also used to try to stop the fire front.
