The city of Porto Torres is preparing to host the traditional “Sagra del pesce”, one of the most anticipated events of the Festha Manna, in Porto Torres. The appointment is for tomorrow, Sunday 1 June from 13:00, in the Eroi dell'Onda square, where the large frying pan will be set up for frying fish products, about 12 quintals of fish caught in the Gulf of Asinara thanks to the fishing boats of the historic Rum company, a dish accompanied by the good wine of the Asinara estates.

This is the first identity initiative of the Turritan community that opens the celebrations in honor of the Holy Martyrs of Turritan. This year the novelty is represented by the frying for celiacs, with breading of the fish using gluten-free flour, so as to also reach those groups of people who suffer from food intolerances. The event is organized for the third consecutive year by Aps Maestrale with the support of the chefs of Sfizi e Delizie ready for a day dedicated to good gastronomy, one of the events that over the years has attracted hundreds of people, tourists and locals.

In the square the big frying in the pan that will contain 1,500 liters of oil, around benches, tables and gazebos to host the participants. The evening will be enlivened by the musical performances of folk groups.
