The firefighters of the Porto Torres detachment intervened promptly in via Pacinotti for an external gas leak. The workers of the company engaged in the construction sites for the creation of the optical fiber, inadvertently, cut one of the gas pipes connected to the homes.

The local police were on site and immediately alerted the 115 teams, who arrived in an emergency to repair the pipe and secure the area. Fortunately, it was not the main pipe but only a branch connected to a building .

The area, near the intersection with Via Antonelli, was completely cordoned off on both sides of the road to prevent passers-by from approaching and to allow intervention operations to be carried out safely.
