Fear in Alghero: cylinder explodes on a balcony

Fear in the Sant'Agostino district of Alghero due to the explosion of a cylinder on the third floor of a building in via Porrino.

The firefighters were intervening for a fire when one of the two cylinders that were on the balcony exploded while the other, shortly after, flew off like a torpedo covering a hundred meters above the buildings. All of this, incredibly, without causing injuries.

Before landing in a garage courtyard, the missile cylinder hit a small terrace, taking away a portion. Now we are trying to understand the causes of the disaster.

Firefighters believe there may have been a gas leak from one of the two cylinders connected to the boiler. The carabinieri are also on the scene.
