Fear among tourists, cars on fire in the car park near La Marinedda

A car, parked on the side of a road, was engulfed in flames in the early afternoon today, sparking great fear among tourists who rushed to save their vehicles.

Firefighters from the Valledoria and Santa Teresa Gallura detachments intervened in La Marinedda, in the territory of Trinità d'Agultu and Vignola. The rapid action made it possible to contain the damage, only two cars and a few dozen square meters of vegetation were affected by the fire.

Also present were the patrols of the CFVA, of Forestas, who operated on the vegetation, and the carabinieri for the relevant investigations.
